Incredible value & performance, all bundled into one easy to use Wheel Care kit.

The Waxit Wheel Care Kit is back with a revamp, starring the new Grime Reaper & Banshee Shroud from MIRCH. These are quickly becoming our go to wheel cleaner products, with Grime Reaper especially, continuing to impress us. 

Firstly, Grime Reaper doesn’t look like anything crash hot at first glance - but when we dive into the product, give it a go & start thinking about it, it's the most economical and best bang for your buck wheel cleaner we have ever used! 

Now it’s not a “reactive” wheel cleaner, so it doesn’t turn the wheels “purple” or anything like that - instead this product opts for an alkaline approach and that’s actually a big deal. This allows the product to be used on wheels AND tyres, at a high level. But a lot of products do this, and usually they leave you wanting more - a product trying to do two things usually makes it mediocre at both…

But that’s where Grime Reaper just takes over this space, due to its advanced alkaline chemistry and large cleaning profile. It infuses a range of surfactants, solvents, alkaline salts as well as incorporating builders, chelates & hydrotopes to create a very unique wheel cleaner. Instead of reacting with iron & other contaminants, it simply engulfs them and pulls them right off. This is what allows it to tackle so much, oils, grime, dirt, iron, tar, and other organic/inorganic compounds that find themselves onto your wheels. 

As for the dilutions! We usually use a dilution of 1:3, which gives us a touchless clean - but you can go as far as 1:10 for your general maintenance cleaning and use the Microfiber Wheel Brush in the kit - giving you up to 10L with just this 5L+ of wheel cleaner with this kit - crazy value. 

Before we get into Banshee Shroud to finish off… another unique product that has surprised us is the Aquatouch SCRUBBA. Grime Reaper will provide that incredible deep cleaning & browning on the tyres - but to really get in there and agitate, you usually need a brush… or a microfiber applicator? 

The SCRUBBA applicator has really impressed us, super easy to handle, easy to use & really cheap and economical. We get heaps of uses out of it, and if you want to grab some extras they are extremely cost effective. It’s safer if you have sensitive wheel finishes you don’t want to knock with a bulky tyre brush and it really provides some solid cleaning power. 

Now that those tyres are clean, it’s time to give Banshee Shroud the spotlight. A tyre dressing that’s infused with Sio2 protection that features crosslinking chemistry specialised to bond to rubber. It provides durable protection without the sling, greasy finish - and provides a darkened, glossy finish. If you want it more glossy, simply apply more - or more matte, a thin layer will be fine with durability not compromised. 

This will keep the tyres cleaner, repelling water & contaminants instead of attracting them like other tyre dressings do.
